Criminal Justice Evolution Podcast: Learn To Forgive

I was in pain, and I masked it with alcohol.  I was contemplating hurting myself.  I finally decided to reach out and ask for help, and I am grateful I did. FHE Health and The Shatterproof Program saved my life. If you are struggling, you don’t have to stay there. We can and will help you. Reach out today at 303.960.9819. https://www.cjevolution.com/shatterproof/ For a long time I was angry. I was bitter and I blamed people for the spot in life I was in. After therapy I started to forgive the people that I believe had wronged me over the years. At first, it was very difficult but over time I started to feel better. I felt a weight lifted from me and I started to become more happy and content.  If you are holding on to resentment and anger against someone I encourage you to forgive them. You don't have to verbally say this to them if you don't want to, but you can say it to your heart. Your mental health and wellness is dependent on this and you can do it. Go out and have a good week and stay tuned for more great guests on the CJEvolution Podcast. www.cjevolution.com   Patrick

Criminal Justice Evolution Podcast: Microcast Monday: 3 Mindset Misconceptions

Hello everyone and welcome back to Microcast Monday. Short bursts of inspiration and motivation to get you started on your day.  A big thank you to all the criminal justice professionals, yes YOU, who serve and protect everyday. Please remember you have much support and please be safe. I struggled. I was in a dark place for a long time. Reach out today at 303.960.9819. https://www.cjevolution.com/shatterproof/ I want to take a moment and talk about 3 Mindset Misconceptions that you might have. 1) When I have more money everything will be fine. Money is very important, but money isn't going to make you happy. Money is a tool, nothing else. If you are a good person money will amplify that. The opposite is also true. 2) I can do everything alone. While it is true that you must make your own decisions you will need your community to help you make the big ones. Life is not a solo sport - we are social beings and we need others to help us on our path. 3) I am my past - You are not your past. Sure, there are decisions you wished you didn't make but your mistakes don't define who you are. You learn from your mistakes and hopefully don't make the same mistakes going forward. This is where a lot of people struggle. There many many more misconceptions but there are at the top for me. Remember you are the pilot of your life - and you can fly anywhere.
