Thank you so much for the support, and because of YOU this podcast is Top Ranked. Please rate and review the show on Apple Podcasts. Give us that 5-Star Rating and Review.  A big shout out and THANK YOU to all the Criminal Justice Professionals who are working in a dangerous and ever-changing environment. They assist in keeping YOU, the criminal justice professional safer. They have mobile threat detection that fits in the palm of YOUR hand that can detect illicit drugs, explosives and now COVID-19. Check out their link at www.cjevolution.com    What are your limiting beliefs? What are you thinking that is holding you back? Now, I don't want you to linger in that mindset, but I want you to be aware. The most powerful two words are I AM. I AM great. I AM powerful. I AM successful. Get into the habit of saying positive affirmations to yourself every day.    I was recently talking to a friend who wants to exit the law enforcement profession and he told me he is scared because he doesn't think he has any talents or skills to offer the private sector.  That is a mindset, and your mindset is 100% up to you. If you are living the life of your dreams right now and are happy then I am very happy for you. But, I know the majority of you are NOT.  Life transformations and changes will take place all the time. You can't control what you can't control. However, you CAN control how you react. I am going through a transformation right in my life. I call it a rebirth. I know my future is filled with success and happiness.    Are you ready?   YOUR REBIRTH STARTS NOW.   I hope you have a great and amazing day. Criminal Justice Evolution Podcast: Microcast Monday - When You Start Your Day What are You Thinking About?

Hello everyone and welcome back to Microcast Monday. Short bursts of motivation and inspiration designed to get you on the right path for your day and week. Thank you all for the support for this amazing show and myself. I do appreciate YOU and I am grateful for YOU.  A big shout out of thanks and appreciation for our brave men and women who are working in the Criminal Justice Field. It's a very difficult environment, but everyday you go out and serve honorably and bravely. Remember you are honored, cherished and loved. Keep up the great work.  When you get up in the morning what are you thinking about? Are your thoughts focused on the negative? Are you focused on your anxiety or stress? Are you worried about money and how you are going to pay the bills? Or, are you focused on the positive in your life? Are you grateful?  When you start your day off in the negative, there is a pretty good chance you are going to remain in that mindset for the duration of the day #mindset.  We have all stubbed our toe(s) at one point or another right? Did that experience send you in a tail spin for the rest of the day? I know it has for me in the past. But, you don't have to stay in that mindset. You have the power.  Remember YOU control your thoughts. Your mind is a garden. What you PLANT in your mind will grow. Before you get out of bed I want you to start thinking about the positive in your life. I want you to be grateful. Even if your life sucks right now.  This simple act WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE.    Go out and conquer your day.   Stay tuned for more great guests and content and reach out to me at www.cjevolution.com   Patrick

Criminal Justice Evolution Podcast: Brock Bevell - Retired Police Officer & Director of Operations for Chase The Vase

Hello everyone and welcome back to the show. The CJEvolution Podcast is Top Ranked because of YOU, the listener and supporter. Thank YOU very much. Please give us that 5-Star Rating and Review on Apple Podcasts. A big shout out and thank you to ALL the criminal justice professionals out there working in a very dangerous and uncertain environment. Remember you are HONORED, CHERISHED and above all you are LOVED. Keep up the great work.   It’s such an honor to be a partnered with an Amazing and Innovative Company like Detectachem. This company is helping keep our brave men, women and YOU safer, but offering mobile threat detection that fits in the palm of your hand. Detecting explosives, drugs and now COVID-19. This application-based technology is a MUST HAVE for your organization. Check out their link at www.cjevolution.com   My next guest is going to motivate and inspire you. Brock Bevell is living proof that anyone, including YOU, can overcome every obstacle life throws at you. Brock is a husband and father of 7 Children. He is a recovery coach and an advocate for those struggling with addiction. Brock has over 11 years of sobriety and 6.5 years working 1 on 1 with men and women who struggle with addiction. In 2001, while working as a Police Officer, Brock was involved in an accident where a mom was prostituting her daughter out for sex in exchange for drugs. During the incident, Brock was run over and sustained notable injuries to his ankle and knee. The injuries and surgeries from the accident led Brock on an extensive addiction to opioids. He openly shares his point of view of the life of an undercover cop, who dedicated his life to the often dangerous and clandestine world of informants, drug dealers, and addicts. While working as a police officer he shares his perception of those who suffer from addiction and alcoholism. On the flip side, Brock didn’t intend to become a drug addict, but nonetheless found himself in a knock down drag out battle with opioid addiction, even turning to selling narcotics to feed his growing and out of control addiction. The kicker you ask? The addict turned dealer and the thrill-seeking undercover cop is the same person – and that’s just the start of what is genuinely an incredible story of a man who at one point has to make the ultimate split-second decision as a police officer, finds himself growing to hate the addicts and dealers he is chasing, and ultimately becomes one himself. Brock does indeed persevere and now over eleven years sober, shares his amazing story of high drama, intrigue and most importantly hope with Chasing the Vase!   A great and powerful interview.   Find Brock here:   https://www.chasethevasechallenge.com/order-473856221616173919993   https://www.facebook.com/chasingthevase/   https://www.linkedin.com/in/brock-bevell-45858a19a/   More great guests and content are coming soon on The Criminal Justice Evolution Podcast   www.cjevolution.com   Patrick

His dedication to obtaining justice for his partner, Jaime Zapata, who was murdered just inches away while on assignment in Mexico, is honorable and a reflection of his character. The government coverup of what happened and their retaliation against him for telling the truth is unforgivable. You won’t be able to put this book down.” Agent Under Fire: A Murder and a Manifesto is a true story of unprecedented corruption, international intrigue, human trafficking, money laundering, drug-running, mass murders, and government evasion. Chalk full of page-turning stories and revelatory insights into Mexico’s criminal underworld, this book moves beyond the everyday true crime memoir and delves into the larger question of what it means for a family man to put his life on the line every day to topple some of the cruelest criminal organizations known to mankind. The book also serves as a manifesto, exploring solutions to misguided immigration policies and offering a unique perspective on what it will take to control our southern border and protect vulnerable American families.   You can find Victor and his book here:   www.agentunderfirebook.com   Stay tuned for more great episodes on The Criminal Justice Evolution Podcast   www.cjevolution.com   Patrick

If you do great, but if you don’t, I recommend you develop one. One that will fit your needs. My morning starts with the following: Gratitude – Before my feet hit the floor in the morning, I am going through a gratitude practice. I start will all the people that are in my life and go from there. This one practice can change your life. The more grateful you are the more of what you want will come into your life. Pray – I pray early in the morning after my gratitude. Meditate – I meditate for at least 10 minutes. There are many apps out there to help you get started. Here is one: https://www.calm.com/ Journal – I write down my daily goals and objectives and other important information that I want to accomplish – I also journal at night to recap the day. Work out – I spend at least 1 to 1.5 hours at the gym. Your body runs it all. You have to take care of your body. When you take care of your body you also take care of your mind. Like anything a morning routine takes time to develop, and it takes dedication. Remember any change in your life is going to take work. When you develop a morning routine / ritual it will soon become habit. Your habits and routines can change your life for the better, of worse. Develop your morning ritual today. We’re athletes, biohackers, professionals, retirees, parents, gamers, fighters, tradespeople, and forever students. We’re all human, trying to get a little better at what we love every day. The human body is our instrument that we play to achieve greatness and optimizing it for peak performance requires the proper nutrition, fitness, and supplementation. ONNIT provides these foundations to support your human journey. I take my Alpha Brain every day. Alpha BRAIN is a dietary supplement that helps support cognitive functions, including memory, mental speed and focus. Check out their link here: https://onnit.sjv.io/c/1453034/973987/5155 I talk to a lot of people, and one of the common themes I hear is that a lot of people believe that they are defined by the mistakes they have make in their past. We all have made mistakes and failures and we all will continue make them in the future, but that doesn’t define who you are. Research shows that we have, on average, 70k thoughts a day. And 90% of those thoughts are the same thoughts we had the day before. Imagine if you changed 5% of your thoughts. Say 10%. You could change your life for the better. Remember that ever day is a RESET. Every day you can forge a new path in your life. You have that power. You are not defined by your past. Go forth and conquer your day.
