It was such an honor to have my next guest on the show, Michael Gier. Michael is an award-winning director/producer. He owns and runs Gier Productions, a Full-Service Global Film & Video Production Company. Michael produced and directed the award-winning documentary film – Wounded Heroes.
Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS) among our veterans is a serious problem with over 20 veterans a day taking their lives by suicide. And just like veterans; firefighters, police officers, and other first responders not only deal with PTS, but they also have very high suicide rates. Most are given prescription drugs but as many have said, medication is just a band-aid over a wound that will never heal. Our Heroes deserve more than just a band-aid and so director/producer Michael Gier went on a mission and found successful alternative treatments that give anyone battling PTS their lives back. This award-winning film gives HOPE and literally saves lives.
