Today I want you to Save Yourself First. Now before you start yelling at me about your duty to protect and serve just listen to me for a minute. If you don’t save yourself first how will you begin to save others? I am not talking about not doing your job as a first responder – Far from it. Saving and helping others with their others is your primary role. But I posit this:
Say you are operating at 75% mentally and physically (And you and only you know the operating level you are currently at, how do you serve and protect others to your full potential? – YOU CAN’T!
I talk about this a lot because it’s so important, and so many of you don’t – TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF FIRST.
Mentally and Physically you Must Come First
You can and you will – Repeat that every day.
