I want you to think about a time when you were happy and content, and I want you to tap into that feeling and remember how you felt.
As we all know there are peaks and valleys in a criminal justice career and personally I stayed in a valley for many years of my career until I shifted my mindset. I started doing things that made me happier. I started taking care of myself better, starting reading better things and started associating with people who lifted me up instead of keeping me down. I want you to do the same. I know the job can and often wears on you, but you don’t have to let that consume you all the time.
Shift your mindset for the better and your life will change for the better.
