In this episode Patrick welcomes Bernard Schaffer. He is an author, full-time police detective and father of two. As a twenty-year law enforcement veteran, he is a decorated criminal investigator, narcotics expert and child forensic interviewer.

Bernard is also the author of numerous independently published books and series. His newest Novel, The Theif of All Light, will be released by Kensington Publications in Summer 2018. He lives and works in the suburbs of Philadelphia, PA.  Patrick and Bernard talk about going after your dreams, tips for aspiring authors and law enforcement challenges.
