I frequently hear people say, I want to go back to the time when….(fill in the blank). You are never going back to that time. You have to adapt to the one constant – Change. You can either go with it or go kicking and screaming because it’s moving forward.
Sure, no one likes change but this is where your growth and opportunities are. A new boat doesn’t get tested sitting in the harbor, it has to go out to sea to see if it can handle it. The same is true with you.
The past is the past – It’s NEVER coming back. We all make mistakes and wish we could have done things differently, but you are NOT the mistakes you have made.
You chart your own path. The future is where it’s at.
