He is now a Program Lead for FHE Health in their Shatterproof Program for First Responders located in Deerfield Beach, Florida. He holds advanced degrees in organizational leadership and business, and is currently studying to become a licensed mental health clinician in the State of Florida. Retired Detective Brent Cartwright served as a police officer for 16 years, spending more than a decade as an undercover detective. He is a recognized expert witness in narcotics trafficking within the United States Criminal Courts System. Brent retired after suffering multiple gunshot wounds during an undercover operation while assigned to an ATF Task Force, which focused on illegal firearms crimes.
