Criminal Justice Evolution Podcast: Microcast Monday -Take the Higher Road

Hello and welcome back to Microcast Monday. Short bursts of inspiration and motivation to get you started for your week.  A special thanks to YOU, the first responder or criminal justice professional. Thank you for your hard work in these difficult times. Remember you are honored, cherished and loved. Keep up the great work. Ever have a questionable ID handed to you? Do you wish there was a way to check that document for its validity? I remember those times as a police officer when I was presented with what appeared to be a suspicious form of identification. I wish I had SureScan during that time. SureScan technology puts the power to ID fake IDs with a 99% accuracy rate in the palm of your hand. Reach out to SureScan today and get a free demo at: www.surescan.us/cjevolution If you are struggling right now with addiction, mental health challenges, or both please reach out. My life changed for the better when I took that step forward. I am so grateful for FHE Health and The Shatterproof Program for First Responders. Reach out at 844-650-1399 or contact me directly at 303-960-9819.  https://fherehab.com/services/first-responders/    If you find yourself the victim of other people's bitterness, don't sacrifice your class to get even. Always take the higher road. Have you ever been slighted? Have you ever want to seek revenge on someone? This can and often causes strife and anger in you. This can fill your heart with hate. This can consume you. I have been there. I have said things or sent messages to people that I often regret. Although, I can't undo the past I can learn from my mistakes and take the higher road in the future. When I do this, I am at peace because I am no longer consumed with seeking revenge. I encourage you to do so too. The anger, revenge and toxic attitude only hurts one person - YOU. Take the higher road. I am not saying not to defend yourself in some situations, but I am advising you to take a pause before you take action and think - Is my response going to make me feel better and bring me peace?
